Megan’s love of politics began years ago as a precinct captain for then Sen. Barack Obama. After traveling to different states to work on both of President Obama’s campaigns, his second inauguration and projects in New York and Miami, she made her way back to Des Moines and worked with issue organizations on causes like the Affordable Care Act, equal pay for equal work and climate change.
After finishing a caucus project in 2016, Megan joined the GPS team as a project manger. She works to coordinate internal and external projects, as well as themed costume contest days in the Des Moines office.
When not winning the above costume contests, she enjoys spending time with her dog Fez, playing aunt to Cora and Crosby and working to put Des Moines fashion on the map.
