Mary Beth brings 12 years of government relations experience to GPS Impact. Prior to joining GPS Impact, she worked as a lobbyist for the Iowa State Association of Counties (ISAC), advising and assisting in the development of county policy positions relating to transportation, conservation, zoning, and property taxes.
Before ISAC, Mary Beth spent nine years as a fiscal analyst for the Iowa Legislative Services Agency, serving as the key legislative contact on budget issues affecting the Iowa Department of Transportation. She is also on the executive committee for the Social Media Club of Des Moines.
Mary Beth is a native Iowan, having received her BA in liberal arts from Iowa State University and master’s degree in public administration from Drake University.
