Senior Advocacy and Mobilization Strategist GPS Impact is hiring a full-time Senior Advocacy and Mobilization Strategist to lead the email, texting, and advertising programs for our national advocacy clients. This position can be remote (pending location approval) or based in one of our physical office locations of Des Moines, IA, Kansas City, MO, Philadelphia, PA or Washington, DC. We are a full-service public affairs and multimedia advertising agency with broad experience helping progressive candidates, advocacy groups, and organizations use integrated, strategic communications and advertising to achieve their goals. DUTIES INCLUDE: Serve as client lead and senior strategist for several national advocacy clients and work alongside other client leads, managers, and other departments to develop digital strategies that maximize our clients’ online fundraising and engagement Work with clients to develop strategy and voice that uniquely positions them to reach their goalsHelp candidates and causes activate their base of supporters by writing engaging email content that contributes to advocacy and fundraising goalsProduce creative and innovative social media contentDraft compelling advertising copy for Google Search ads, Facebook ads, display ads, and moreAnalyze metrics and report on program performance, best practices, and test resultsCode (using basic HTML), produce, target and test email communicationsReport on program performance and serve as a client point of contactHelp elect Democrats and support progressive causes nationwide REQUIREMENTS At least three cycles of experience working with a political campaign or progressive organization in a digital or fundraising roleExperience writing and managing digital fundraising content for a political campaign or non-profit organizationAbility to work independently or with minimal oversightExperience executing a goal-oriented digital communication and/or fundraising planWillingness to learn on the jobAttention to detailStrong written and verbal communication skillsA sense of how to tell a storyEnthusiasm for progressive politics and working to elect more Democrats across the countryAbility to thrive in a constantly changing, often unpredictable, and sometimes fast-paced environment PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience with any of the following CRMs: NGP, BSD, Action Network, or NationBuilderKnowledge of basic HTML Experience working with a political campaign or progressive organization Familiarity with political and fundraising best practices INSTRUCTIONS To apply, please email cover letter and resume to jobs@gpsimpact.com.
