Senior Account Manager

GPS Impact is hiring a full-time Senior Account Manager to join our growing Direct Response Team at one of our offices in Kansas City, MO, Des Moines, IA, or Washington, D.C.

The Senior Account Manager will be the internal lead on several clients, and responsible for working with digital strategists, graphic designers, and ad team members to meet client goals. The ideal candidate for this position will be a self-starter with experience developing digital campaigns and hitting fundraising goals.

GPS Impact is full-service public affairs and multimedia advertising agency with broad experience helping progressive candidates, advocacy groups, and organizations use integrated, strategic communications and advertising to achieve their goals. GPS Impact is uniquely set up with digital expertise as well as television media production, general campaign consulting, communications experts, ad-buying, targeting, and creative all in-house.

DUTIES INCLUDE:
Help elect Democrats and support progressive causes nationwide
Act as client lead for several clients and work alongside other client leads, managers, and other departments to develop digital strategies that maximize our clients’ online fundraising and engagement
Work with clients to develop strategy and voice that uniquely positions them to reach their goals
Manage the production process for copy and visual collateral
Recommend email, advertising, and social media strategies to activate clients’ supporter bases
Analyze metrics and create tests to improve client programs while staying familiar with current best practices
Report on program performance and serve as a client point of contact

REQUIREMENTS:
One to two cycles of experience working with a political campaign or progressive organization in a digital or fundraising role
Ability to work independently or with minimal oversight
Experience executing a goal-oriented digital communication and/or fundraising plan
Willingness to learn on the job
Attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
A sense of how to tell a story
Enthusiasm for progressive politics and working to elect more Democrats across the country
Ability to thrive in a constantly changing, often unpredictable, and sometimes fast-paced environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience with any of the following CRMs: NGP, BSD, Action Network, or NationBuilder
Knowledge of basic HTML
